3D SCANNING

These scans were created with Polycam and depict the electrical boxes that proliferate throughout the streets of Phoenix. They catch our attention because they are silent witnesses to everything that happens, and they even serve as shelter, hiding spots, or meeting points for some people. Our intention with this scan is to create a three-dimensional study of this monolithic object, which we are reconstructing in wood and other materials. We are personifying it, turning it into a character that speaks or makes sounds, that tells stories, and becomes an active presence that reacts and interacts.
