3D Printing
3D Printing
3D sculpted
For the first print, I had used the 3d sculpt i made in Tinkercad for my tutorials assignment. I wanted to paint it and use it as a little decoration in my curiosity cabnet.
For this assignment i wanted to try something different, instead of sending my STL's to a makerspace, my partner let me use his old 3D printer to print a few things.
As you can see from the wuality of this print it didnt turn out very good, but i wanted to be honest and show what my first own self print looked like. It was supper inconstant in some spots and parts peeled off when i took off the supports. I used Creality for this frist print. I did more research about the printer and wanted to try a different Program.
3D Scanned
In this print, I used the 3D scan I made for my benchmark 2. Its of my clay vase i had made in a ceramics class.
Instead of Creality, I used Ultimaker Cura. I looked at a few posts from other people who had the same printer and they recommended this program because it cleaned up alot of the printing uses.
This print came out so much cleaner and stable. I was also recommned to turn up the temp of the nozzel to 220°. Im pretty happy with how this print turned out.
