For this project, I used the photogrammetry app Polycam to capture the surface geometry of a Halloween skull prop. I downloaded the mesh as a GLTF file and then opened it in Maya and Blender. I used Maya’s Cleanup tool to locate and fix any non-manifold geometry- I also personally inspected it and merged some vertices. I changed the units to millimeters and scaled it down so that the skull is 75mm or less in any direction. Finally, I exported the my selection as a STL file and uploaded it to my Vizproto page.
