"And I beheld an mountain range made of metal and brick and glass. I was supposed to believe that this had been constructed by living creatures, without the use of sorcery. Just brains and muscle and the things those could make. Back then we simply called it human magic, although many of us still do. What else could possibly describe such a wonder? What else but a miracle could you call the creation of a mountain range of our own?"
— Queen Khalada of Clade Swiftfoot, recollecting her arrival in New Vosk City, Sudragh.
The Linpith are an industrious and dilligent race of quadrupedal ant people, whose populations are found primarily within Eastern Parthus. From the early First Age, they had lived within the Parthian Mountains, waging a forever war with the Dwarves of the Eternal Empire. For the Linpith, this war was a long and slow decline, a neverending series of rearguard actions and tactical retreats. Their race could see extinction approaching, and many knew it would only be a matter of time. Until a certain event occurred.
As the fall of Voskguardia sent shockwaves rippling throughout Western Ciradon and the wider world. The Linpith race, in nearly its entirety, departed the only home they had ever known. All for the mere possibility of survival. In fits and starts, and then larger and larger numbers, they headed for greener pastures within Eastern Parthus' core region. To the place that would become Humila, the Linpith's Homeland. This disruptive and often destructive movement of peoples, arguably one of the greatest in Tyrrell's long history, would become known simply as "The Great March"
Biology & Genetics
The Linpith are defined by their massive family groups, known as Clades, which include a single queen and all of her children. These groups can be broken up into different castes which have different characteristics. These are the warriors and workers, whose roles are self explanatory, and the uplifted, 'superior' versions of their 'younger' brothers and sisters. There is also the Princess,
