Concept is an idea, intention to sell or publicise ideas. The concept will change overtime since there will be concept stages of a game design apart from the initial idea. Environment concept gives us a full aspect of the design and the world, this gives you mood, colour palettes etc. Before starting a concept it's important to have a genre idea, the game will have a story and background. Think about where the game takes place, the story and gameplay mechanics.
This workshop we designed assets for a game of our own invention or a game that already exists. The replacement of the game would be game setting (jungle, desert or underwater), game style ( realistic, cartoon, steampunk) and item that relates to the real world. Wiht 20 minutes research and 30 minutes to create silhouettes.

After 20 minutes of research we created different silhouettes with our own idea by using the references. Once I made 16 silhouettes, I chose one I would develop a bit further by grey scaling, during this process I changes the shape of the sword to make it sharper and longer. This workshop was fun and useful, which I will use for my upcoming assessments.
