Week 9/10 - Animating the arms
SHINDY LEONG
SHINDY LEONG
I have added the animation for the arms, this made a really big difference as it give Blake more personality and expression. I worked on the arms first and the the hands and legs so I wouldn't get stuck for too long. Animating the arm was a smooth process due to earlier practice when doing the Blake walk cycle and arm swing. I'm happy with the camera angles and cuts.
Although I'm not satisfied with the lip sync as it falls behind a bit, there are a few parts where it matches the audio and sometimes not. When it came to rendering I used the batch render with Maya Software, but it didn't work for some reason. The file didn't want to open even though it was an AVI file, I tried to convert it but it didn't work either. Instead I used playblast as it's quicker and saved more time. This is a practice after all, for the next 3D walk cycle and 3D lip sync I will try to fix those issues I have had during the whole animating process. This is also helpful for my animation module as I will need to animate and render my object.
