• Explicit Knowledge - communicate to others - objective (pitching, getting a job, learning and improving your work)

Academic Reflection

Reflective work is in written form and can be seen by others and assessed. These factors have an impact of te nature and quality of reflection.

Reflective learning - Reflects a stated purpose for the reflection linked to a learning outcome.

Academic reflection - Follows a description of the purpose and/or the subject matter of the reflection.

• Driscoll - What? (what happened (description), So what? (Why is that important? How can it be explained? (interpretation), What Next? (What have I learned? How can it be applied in the future? (outcome))

• Moon - questions to support and facilitate reflective writing
