Prince Shawn was born on Friday, 26 June 1987 in Ontario, Canada. He is the eldest child and only son of Tracy (future Queen of Ardania & of Mull). He has two siblings, and shares a parent with each, a father with his older brother Matthew and a mother with his younger sister Brittany, the Princess Royal of the Principality of Woodlandia.  

Prince Shawn has attended more than 14 different schools throughout Ontario, Canada for his education. He has had numerous private teachers and tutors at his request. The Prince is fluent in his native language, English and his fairly fluent in French. He is currently learning Spanish.

Prince of Ardania

During the year 1999, Prince Shawn was declared an official Prince of the Kingdom of Ardania, when his grandfather Kenneth became the first King of the Kingdom of Ardania and his mother Tracy, the first Princess Royal.

Following the abdication of his uncle Derek, the King of Ardania, who abdicated his throne for love so he could marry a commoner, The Princess Royal of Ardania, Tracy, the Prince's mother was proclaimed the new Queen of Ardania on 22 April 2006. By default and as the only son of Her Majesty, Queen Tracy, Prince Shawn was, on the same day proclaimed the second Crown Prince of Ardania and heir apparent. The first Crown Prince being the Prince's uncle Derek, the former King of Ardania.

King of Ardania

On the 30th birthday of His Royal Highness, the Queen of Ardania and of Mull abdicated the Kingdom of Ardania in favour of her son, the Prince Shawn. On 26 June 2017, The Prince was proclaimed His Majesty, King Shawn of the Kingdom of Ardania. 

As the King, Prince Shawn reigned for nearly two years, until 12 March 2019, when he officially created the Principality of Woodlandia by amalgamating the Kingdom of Ardania and its surrounding lands into the Principality of Woodlandia by proclaiming himself the first Hereditary Sovereign Prince of the Principality of Woodlandia. 

Thus the Kingdom of Ardania is dormant, and not a defunct Kingdom. Therefore Ardania technically functions as a micro-kingdom within the Principality of Woodlandia with HRH Prince Shawn as supreme Sovereign and Monarch.

On December 11, 2000, Prince Shawn was declared an official Prince of the Kingdom of Mull, when his grandmother Shirley, became the first Queen of the Kingdom of Mull and his mother Tracy, the first Princess Royal.

On 16 November 2014, HRH Prince Shawn was given the title of Crown Prince of Mull. Claim#1

1.) Birthright - Possibly one of the strongest arguments of legitimacy to any monarchy, is whether or not a Monarch has a right to rule a country that they themselves were not born in, and who bare no ancestral descent of the peoples of the country.

Sovereign Argument

• Queen Elizabeth II was born in England, United Kingdom, and not Canada. She has no ancestors of Canadian or Native descent, unlike Prince Shawn, who fulfills all criteria of birthright. He was born in Ontario, Canada, and has many ancestors of Canadian descent, as well as Aboriginal roots and Native ancestors of pre-Canada.

2.) Residence - Historic statistics prove most Kingdoms prosper when the current monarch resides within the Kingdom under which they reign.

Sovereign Argument

• The current Queen of Canada (Elizabeth II) lives in England, United Kingdom. She has never taken up residence in Canada since her reign began (1952), and no member of the British Royal family resides in Canada, strengthening her claim. The Prince who has maintained a permanent residence in Southern Ontario, Canada since his birth (1987), will maintain indefinitely, a permanent residence in the Principality of Woodlandia (former part of Northern Ontario, Canada). The Prince and some members of the Woodlandia royal family own multiple royal residences within Canada. Additionally, many members of the Woodlandia royal family maintain a permanent residence within Canada.

3.) Politics - Politics are often used to run governments, and can be a way to help the country and it's people. If a monarch is not involved in the politics of it's country, historically, the country risks errors in the decision making of government politics.

Sovereign Argument

• Although Canada is an independent country, Queen Elizabeth II is only the nation's head of state. The Queen does not play an active role in Canadian politics, and her powers are mostly symbolic, unlike the Prince who has nearly absolute power of the government of the Principality of Woodlandia, limited only by a unique constitution.

4.) Aboriginal Descent - It is generally agreed upon that modern Aboriginals or descendants of Aboriginal people which continue to dwell on land (now known as Canada), have a legitimate and stronger claim of sovereignty than those from other countries/nations.

Sovereign Argument

• Neither Queen Elizabeth II, her ancestors, or her descendants have aboriginal roots or native ancestors. HRH Prince Shawn is descended from native aboriginals of pre-Canada, most closely, the Odawa peoples, which are federally recognized as Native American tribes in the United States and have numerous recognized First Nations bands in Canada. They are one of the Anishinaabeg, related to but distinct from the Ojibwe and Potawatomi peoples.

• Through DNA testing, it was confirmed that Prince Shawn is the 13th Great Grandson of Chief Wahunsenacawh Powhatan (1547–1618), leader "King" of the Powhatan, (Nansemond Algonquian-speaking indigenous tribes), and father of the famous Indian Princess, Amonute Matoaka Powhatan (Pocahontas) Lady "Rebecca" Rolfe. Pocahontas is the 12th Great Aunt of Prince Shawn, who descends from one of her brothers, also a Chief.

5.) Descendant of Kings - It could be said that if one were to claim land in Canada, that they themselves should be in the Canadian Royal family or at least descended from it.

• The first King of England, Duke of Normandy, William I the Conqueror is the direct 21th great grandfather of Shawn.

• Shawn descends from a number of royal and noble ancestors according to DNA testing. One of his closest, King Robert III of Scotland is the 16th Great Grandfather of Prince Shawn. King Robert's daughter Princess Mary Stewart is the 15th Great Grandmother of Shawn, of whom he descends from.

• King of the Franks, King of the Lumbards, and Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne is the 33th Great Grandfather of HRH Prince Shawn according to DNA.

• Shawn is also said to have descended from Sir William Wallace, who is a direct 21th great grandfather of Shawn.

Principality Not Separated Into A Kingdom - One cannot claim to be a King or Queen on land that is owned by an already "recognized" ruler (Queen Elizabeth II) if they themselves are not "recognized", or their nation. If one were to claim a title with land, it seems the most appropriate would be that of Prince/Princess of a Principality, until formal recognition and independence is gained.

Sovereign Argument

• In the world of Micro-nationalism the Principality of Woodlandia is independent of Canada. However, until Woodlandia joins the United Nations as a full member and is recognized by all other member nations, the nation therefore, is not "recognized" and technically exists on "borrowed" land. For this reason, Woodlandia was purposely established as a Principality to co-exist with Canada, its host nation. The Principality of Woodlandia will remain a Principality until it has attained fully recognized and independent status. Only then will it consider becoming a Kingdom, out of respect for Canada and its ruler.

Land Purchased Instead Of Taking In War - Nations claiming land by acts of war is considered wrong by many, yet nations continue to break peace and fight against each other anyways, only to loose their land again through more wars. No side really wins. Morally, land should be attained legally and just.

• The lands that make up the Principality of Woodlandia were purchased legally from Canada (Woodlandia's host nation), according to its laws by HRH Prince Shawn and the royal Woodlandia family. Zero land was conquered through war to attain Woodlandia, unlike the neighbouring nation (Canada), which was taken forcefully through war by ancestors of HM Queen Elizabeth II of Canada, and maintained by occupation on land previously owned by Native Americans.

8.) Small Amount of Land Owned - Historically, smaller nations are known to survive longer than those nations of which are substantial sizes. Additionally, with today's technology and weapons of mass destruction, it is dangerous for any nation's leader to have the ability to make potentially fatal worldwide decisions regarding their nations security. To have a nation's leader that is in control of a large surface area of land on earth is likely to result in catastrophe.

• The Principality of Woodlandia is not a large nation by area. Queen Elizabeth II is the world's largest landowner. During her reign she had been Queen of over 30 countries and legal owner of about 6.6 billion acres of land, one-sixth of the earth's land surface. Queen Elizabeth II is also Queen of Canada, which is about 9.98 million square kilometers (3.85 million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area.

• Shawn is closely related to a number of royal and noble people according to DNA testing. One of his closest, King James I and VI Stuart of England and Scotland is the third cousins 11 times removed (meaning 3rd cousins by 11 generations).

• The current Queen of Canada (Elizabeth II) and Shawn are 13th cousins once removed. Additionally, the current Head of the Canadian Government, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Shawn are 8th cousins.

Visual, Performing & Contemporary Arts

In his spare time, Prince Shawn enjoys creating paintings on canvas or occasionally on pieces of recycled cardboard, using acrylic paint and a variety of brushes. Although the Prince has an interest in painting a variety of themes, he prefers to paint landscapes and images relating to pop culture. The Prince has painted a number of artworks featuring various celebrities and important moments in pop culture, many of which have been donated to various organizations throughout Woodlandia, most notably the Woodlandia Royal Pop Culture Museum. Sometimes, instead of using paint, the prince will use chalk or oil pastels for the art.

Acting

Prince Shawn had always had admiral fascination with the glitz and glamorous lifestyle of "Hollywood" since early childhood, and therefore had chose to pursue a career as an actor. When he was in school, Prince Shawn was cast in many school drama plays and productions, additionally, performing in church plays and singing in the church choir. At age 13, he found himself an agent and booked his first audition. The audition was to be a commercial for the soft drink & company of the same name "Coca-Cola". The commercial was shot in old western style (wild west) and Prince Shawn was required to speak with a Southern style American accent. Unfortunately, he was extremely nervous and claims he did terribly. The audition was recorded on a VHS cassette for playback on a VCR. A copy of the tape is still in existence today, although Prince Shawn has expressed a strong desire to never again watch the tape, as he claims it was one of his most embarrassing moments during his youth. As a result of the failed audition, Prince Shawn decided to pursue a career in Hollywood from behind the camera instead of in front of it, although he may occasionally make a cameo appearance or guest star when asked.

Publications

The Prince is a professional writer, and has wrote numerous publications. On December 16th, 2021 the Prince partnered with AMAZON to release his first book titled, Black Sheep Conspiracies ~ Poems of Enlightenment. The book is covers some of the most popular and well known conspiracy theories in pop culture, told in a poetic narrative. 

Author

The Prince is currently writing a number of books, including his own autobiography about his life before he became the Prince of Woodlandia. Following the success of the publication of his first book, the Prince plans to release other books and other works. Additionally, he has expressed interest in writing a book about a newly discovered (by HRH) and previously unheard of conspiracy (as of 2022) involving the R.M.S. Titanic.

Screenwriting

Sometime in 2018, the Prince had arranged to meet the Producer of a local Film Production Company about having a script that the Prince had written turned into a film. The Producer agreed to meet and interview Shawn at a fast food restaurant (Wendy's). They became friends, and since then have worked together on multiple projects. 

Freelance Writer

Often, Prince Shawn is asked to write for various sources and most times, is happy to oblige. Occasionally, Prince Shawn volunteers to write or edit articles for other nations when needed. The Prince has even written for fellow nation, Grand Duchy of Flandrensis.

Ideator

The Prince has referred to himself as a Professional Conceptualist Ideator, one who ideates and generates an idea, or synthesizes a concept to business or people (usually celebrities) to improve their revenue and/or PR (Public Relations) in exchange for a name credit of recognition. HRH Prince Shawn has ideated to a number of celebrities and famous people's including, Madonna, and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York "Fergie", among others.

Ideation comprises all stages of a thought cycle, from innovation, to development, to actualization.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Mitch Markowitz

a newly formed production company had bought the rights to make new material based on characters from the cult classic show, which included the rights to all 130 episodes of the show, as well licensing, merchandising and all other assets. The items were purchased from original producer Mitch Markowitz for an undisclosed amount.

The plan is to create a bible, pilot script and short demo for a new, live-action Frightenstein series. They're also working on an animated series and a 50th anniversary special to air in 2021.  

Sarah, Duchess of York

Prince Shawn remains uncredited with presenting Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, the idea to create a cookbook for the whole family to enjoy, inspired by recipes that she would occasionally teach on her YouTube channel to children during the global lock-downs due to the coronavirus pandemic. On 30 July 2020, Prince Shawn had contacted the Duchess and presented to her an outlined idea for a book that she could write with the stipulation that she acknowledge the use of the Princes idea if she used it.
