1. History
The first Founder's Day of the Principality of Woodlandia was founded on March 12, 2019 by His Royal Highness Sovereign Prince Shawn of Woodlandia when the Principality of Woodlandia was declared an independent sovereign nation. The founding coincides with the amalgamation of the three town boroughs of Woodlandia; Liberty, Olympia, and Freedom.

The Principality Of Woodlandia Has Done Something Unusual! We Do Not Normally Participate In Politics, But This Year We Had Decided To Postpone Celebrations Of Woodlandia's Annual Founder's Day.
Two Weeks Ago On March 12 Of This Year The Principality Of Woodlandia Should Have Celebrated It's 3rd Founders Day, But As Of Yet Has Not. Although We Are Grateful For Another Anniversary Of Our Claim Of Independence, We Cannot Happily Celebrate Independence When Ukraine Is Fighting For Theirs!
Therefore, Woodlandia Has Lowered Its National Flag Out Of Respect For The People Of Ukraine, And We Are Asking All Woodlandia Citizens And Loyal Followers To Celebrate Woodlandia's Founder's Day Privately This Year!
Woodlandia Will Celebrate It's Claim Of Independence On Founder's Day As Usual Once Ukraine Is Free Again!

Founder's Day was proclaimed a royal holiday by HRH Prince Shawn on the day of its institution on March 12, 2019, and took effect "upon, from and after" March 12.
3. Tradition
Founders' Day is typically celebrated with a town wide gathering of entertainment and a speech, usually given by the Prime Minister and/or the Sovereign to commemorate the most historic day in Woodlandia's history.
