1. Official Coat of Arms

The Coat of Arms of Woodlandia was designed and gifted to the Principality of Woodlandia by HRH Prince Shawn of the Principality of Woodlandia on 12 March 2020, exactly one year after its establishment. On the same day, the Coat of Arms was officially adopted by HRH Prince Shawn as the official Coat of Arms of the Principality of Woodlandia.

2. De Facto Coat of Arms

Weeks after Woodlandia's founding, many designs were carefully looked over and considered for the National Coat of Arms by HRH Prince Shawn. With government delays in choosing an official Coat of Arms for the Principality, Woodlandia had not yet adopted an official Coat of Arms.

On March 24, 2019, HRH Prince Shawn had received a letter sent by His Imperial Majesty John I, King of Baustralia. In the letter was a proposal for the use and adoption of a Official National Coat of Arms in which he (John I) had personally designed as a gift to the Prince, for the creation of the Principality of Woodlandia. The Coat of Arms is a simple design, closely resembling the flag of Canada. A white background with a red Oak leaf in the center. The remainder of the Coat of Arms displaying a thick red bar on each side of the shield. The top of the shield is adorned with a Princes crown.

While thankful to King John I for the gift, Prince Shawn did not accept the offer to officially adopt the Coat of Arms for the Principality, but instead agreed to use the Coat of Arms as the nations de facto Coat of Arms, until an official Coat of Arms was chosen. The Prince unofficially naming the Coat of Arms design "The Lonely Oak". On March 25, 2019, the Coat of Arms was introduced and adopted by government, as the nations de facto symbol.

On March 12, 2020 an official Coat of Arms for the Principality of Woodlandia was chosen and adopted, leaving "The Lonely Oak" Coat of Arms a popular de facto symbol of Woodlandia.

Government Use

About mid January 2021, shortly after the government returned from holidays, the Principality of Woodlandia was gifted a custom wooden picture frame for the original drawing of the Official Coat of Arms of Woodlandia by Prime Minister Sir Robert Ronyson, first Prime Minister of Woodlandia.

The drawing by HRH Prince Shawn was completed on 12 March 2020 and was carefully stored without a frame for nearly a full year. As of 2021 the Coat of Arms and it's frame are housed in the Prince's office at the Wallace Government House government building.

For the year 2021, the government of Woodlandia purchased a number of Principality of Woodlandia Coat of Arms decorative hanging pennants to display the Principality of Woodlandia's official Coat of Arms.

The pennants are displayed throughout the halls and offices of Woodlandia government buildings, as well as selected government owned businesses of the Principality of Woodlandia.

The pennants are not available to members of the general public and are exclusively for the Woodlandia government use.
