3. Treaties & Agreements

4. Embassy

In Woodlandia an Embassy is the base for the Principality's diplomatic mission abroad – meaning all of the political, cultural and social relationships between nations. Generally, there is only one Embassy for representing Woodlandia in another nation, as it is where the Nation's Ambassador works (and sometimes resides).

Purpose

The primary purpose of an embassy is to assist Woodlandia citizens who travel to or live in the host nation.

The Embassy offers a full range of services, including consular services. Such matters include, but are not limited to provide legal advice, intervene in private legal matters or financial estate disputes; free a citizen of prison; intercede with foreign immigration officials to allow entering or exiting a nation, and to solve immigration-related problems such as overstaying a visa and applications for a visa to Canada or other countries.

Learn about Woodlandia Ambassadors, the official envoys or high-ranking diplomat who represents the Principality of Woodlandia, usually accredited to another sovereign state or nation or to an international organization as the resident representative of the Woodlandia government or of the sovereign and appointed for a special and often temporary diplomatic assignment.

6. The Prince & Foreign Affairs Office

The Prince is in regular contact with officials at the Foreign Affairs Office, which looks after Woodlandia interests overseas and builds diplomatic ties with other countries. The office advises on which foreign Heads of State should be invited to the Principality of Woodlandia on State Visits. The Prince and the Royal Family are then responsible for hosting the Head of State and his or her party with a ceremonial arrival and a State Banquet to welcome them.

Members of the Royal Family support The Prince ’s role as Head of State and regularly undertake foreign visits at the request of the Foreign Affairs Office, on behalf of The Prince. These visits tend to celebrate the ties and shared interests between the Principality and other nations.

During State Visits and key diplomatic events such as Government Meetings and significant anniversaries, the entire working Royal Family comes together to warmly welcome visiting Heads of State.

Occasionally, members of the Royal Family take on a special role for which foreign visits can bring much needed awareness to a particular issue. These issues are usually important to the royal patron and generally reflect their hobbies, interests or global concerns.
