Mobilia Apps ("we", "us") built Savings Circle Manager as a free app with an optional
one-time Premium purchase. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it
is used, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
**Savings Circle Manager is a record-keeping and organizing tool.** It helps organizers of
informal rotating savings circles (known locally as kameti, committee, BC, tanda, cundina,
susu, ajo, stokvel, gam'eya, hui, or arisan) keep track of members, turns, and
contributions. The app **does not hold, transfer, request, or manage any money**, has no
wallet or payment processing, and is not a financial product or financial-advice service.

## Summary
- Your circle data — member names, phone numbers, photos, turns, and contribution
records — is stored **only on your device**. We do not operate a server that stores it,
and we cannot see it.
- **There is no account, no login, and no cloud sync or cloud backup.** Your member data
never leaves your phone unless you explicitly export or share a summary yourself.
- We use standard third-party services for ads, purchases, and crash/analytics reporting.
These may collect limited technical and advertising data as described below.
- The app does **not** collect or transmit any financial information because it never
handles money — it only keeps records that you enter.

## Information the App Accesses
### 1. Data you enter (stored locally only)
The app stores the information you enter — circles, member names, phone numbers, member
photos, trust notes, turn/rotation order, contribution records (paid/partial/missed),
timeline history, and app settings — in a local database (Room, `savings_circles.db`) on
your device. This data:
- Stays on your device.
- Is **not** transmitted to us or any third party.
- Is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
- Can be exported by you (CSV / summary image) and shared only where and when you choose.
Member phone numbers may be added via Android's built-in, permission-free system contact
picker. The app receives only the single contact detail you select; it does **not** read
or upload your contact list.
### 2. Advertising data
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process:
- Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier).
- Approximate, coarse location derived from IP address (used by AdMob, not by the app
directly).
- Device information and ad-interaction events used to serve and measure ads.
Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), we show a consent request via Google's User Messaging
Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are served.
### 3. Purchase data
Premium is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play Billing. Google Play
handles the transaction; we do not receive or store your payment details. The app stores
only a local flag indicating whether Premium is unlocked.
### 4. Crash and analytics data
We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to keep the app stable and understand
aggregate usage. These may collect:
- Crash logs, stack traces, and device state at the time of a crash.
- Device model, OS version, app version, and general app-interaction events.
This data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.

## Permissions the App Requests

The app does **not** request location, camera, storage, microphone, or contacts-read
permissions. Member photos are captured/selected via the Android photo-picker and camera
intent (no app-level camera permission). Phone numbers are added via the permission-free
system contact picker.

## Data Sharing and Selling
We do **not** sell your personal information. We do not share the circle data you enter
with anyone — member names, phone numbers, and photos never leave your device except
through exports or summary images you initiate. The technical data described above is
processed by the third-party services listed for the stated purposes only.
## Data Retention and Deletion
- Circle data lives on your device until you delete it in-app or uninstall the app.
- Ad, crash, and analytics data are retained by the respective Google services per their
policies.
- To delete all app data: clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the
app. You may also email us at **muhammadilyas15@gmail.com** with any deletion request.
## Children's Privacy
The app is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
## Your Choices
- **Ads consent:** Manage or withdraw consent via the in-app consent option (where shown).
- **Advertising ID:** Reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
- **Notifications:** Turn reminders off in Android settings at any time.
- **Remove ads:** Purchase Premium (one-time) to remove advertising.
## Security
Your circle data stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security. Data
exchanged with our third-party services is encrypted in transit. We take reasonable
measures for the limited technical data processed by those services.
## Not a Financial Service
Savings Circle Manager is a personal record-keeping and organizing tool for informal
savings circles. It does not hold, move, lend, invest, or manage funds, does not process
payments, makes no guarantee of any savings or returns, and does not provide financial,
investment, tax, or legal advice. All money in a savings circle is handled directly among
its members, outside of this app.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at the hosted policy
URL above with a new effective date.
