Delivery Log ("we", "our", "the app") is a delivery tracking and earnings management app designed for gig economy workers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

By using Delivery Log, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

### 2.1 Information You Provide

When using the app, you may enter the following data:

- Delivery details (platform, earnings, tips, distance, start/end times, notes)

- Expense records (category, amount, description, date)

- Photos attached to delivery records (selected from your device gallery)

- Device information (model, OS version, manufacturer) for crash reporting

- We do NOT collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identity information through the app

- We do NOT collect your location or GPS coordinates

- We do NOT require account creation or sign-in

We use collected information to:

- Provide core app functionality (delivery logging, expense tracking, earnings reports)

- Generate charts and summaries of your delivery activity

- Display relevant advertisements to free-tier users

- Improve app performance and fix crashes via crash reporting

- Process premium subscription purchases

## 4. Data Storage and Security

### 4.1 Local Storage

- All your delivery, expense, and summary data is stored locally on your device using a Room database

- App preferences (currency, theme) are stored locally via SharedPreferences

- Photos are stored on your device and referenced by the app via URI -- they are not copied or uploaded

### 4.2 No Cloud Storage

- Delivery Log does NOT sync your data to any cloud server

- Your delivery records, expenses, and photos remain entirely on your device

- There is no account system, no sign-in, and no cloud backup feature

### 4.3 Security Measures

- All network communication (ads, analytics, crash reports) uses HTTPS/TLS encryption

- Your data is isolated within the app's private storage on your device

- No data is transmitted to our servers

## 5. Photos and Images

- Photos are only accessed when you explicitly choose to attach one to a delivery record

- The app uses Android's Photo Picker (PickVisualMedia) to let you select photos from your gallery

- Photos remain in their original location on your device; the app only stores a reference (URI)

- Photos are never uploaded, shared with third parties, or used for advertising

- You can remove photo attachments from delivery records at any time within the app

## 6. Data Sharing

### 6.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

### 6.2 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data:

- Free-tier users see advertisements served by Google AdMob

- AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization

- You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings

- Premium subscribers see no advertisements

Delivery Log is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

- You can view all your data within the app at any time

- You can edit or delete any delivery record or expense you have entered

- All data is under your direct control on your device

### 8.2 Data Deletion

- You can delete individual records from within the app

- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data (delivery records, expenses, preferences)

- No cloud data exists to delete

### 8.3 Ad Preferences

- Premium subscription removes all advertisements

- You can opt out of personalized ads via device settings (Settings > Google > Ads)

## 9. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights:

- **Right to access** -- request a copy of your data

- **Right to rectification** -- correct inaccurate data

- **Right to erasure** -- request deletion of your data

- **Right to restrict processing** -- limit how we use your data

- **Right to data portability** -- receive your data in a portable format

- **Right to object** -- object to data processing for marketing

The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent for data processing and personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR.

## 10. Data Retention

- Local data is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app

- Analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention policies (14 months)

- Crash reports are retained for 90 days

- Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy

- Posting a notice within the app

Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
