1. INTRODUCTION
PE Teacher Tracker ("the App") is developed by Mobilia Apps. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our App. The App is designed for physical education teachers and coaches to
manage their PE programs. It is not intended for direct use by students or minors.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Information You Provide
As a PE teacher using the App, you may enter the following data:
- Student information (names, student numbers, gender, date of birth, medical notes)
- Parent/guardian contact information (email addresses, phone numbers)
- Class details (class names, grades, schedules, locations)
- Participation records (effort scores, dress code compliance, engagement scores)
- Fitness test results (test scores, personal bests)
- Skill assessment scores (rubric-based evaluations)
- Student report cards and teacher comments
- Equipment inventory records
- Lesson plan details
- Parent message history
b) Information Collected Automatically
- App usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics)
- Crash reports and diagnostics (via Firebase Crashlytics)
- Device information for ad personalization (via Google AdMob)
- Advertising identifiers (subject to your consent preferences)
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information to:
- Provide core App functionality (class management, participation tracking, fitness testing, skill assessments, reports, lesson planning)
- Generate student progress reports, charts, and data exports
- Enable cloud backup and sync across devices (when signed in with Google)
- Improve App performance and stability through analytics and crash reporting
- Display advertisements to free users
- Process subscription and in-app purchases
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
- All data you enter is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database
- Cloud backup is optional and requires Google sign-in. When enabled, your data is stored in Firebase Firestore under your authenticated user account
- Your cloud data is isolated to your account and is not accessible by other users
- We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data or student data with third parties for marketing purposes
5. STUDENT DATA AND EDUCATIONAL RECORDS
- The App is a tool for teachers. All student data is entered and controlled by the teacher (you)
- You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization to collect and store student information in compliance with your school's policies and applicable laws (such as FERPA in the United States)
- Student data is stored only on your device and optionally in your private cloud account
- We do not access, analyze, mine, or use student data for any purpose other than providing App functionality to you
- We do not use student data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose
- You can delete all student data at any time from within the App
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob — Displays advertisements (free version only). https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Firebase Analytics — Collects anonymous app usage data. https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Firebase Crashlytics — Collects crash reports for stability improvements
- Firebase Authentication — Manages Google sign-in for cloud sync
- Firebase Firestore — Cloud data storage for backup and sync (optional)
- Google Play Billing — Processes subscription and in-app purchases
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — Manages ad consent preferences
7. ADVERTISING AND CONSENT
- Free users may see banner and interstitial advertisements served by Google AdMob
- Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements
- Upon first launch, you will be presented with a consent form (via Google UMP) allowing you to choose your ad personalization preferences
- You can change your consent preferences at any time in the App settings
8. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
- Access — View all data stored in the App at any time
- Edit — Modify any data you have entered
- Delete — Remove individual records or all data from the App and cloud storage
- Export — Export your data as CSV or PDF files
- Portability — Download your data in standard formats
- Opt-out — Decline personalized advertising via the consent form
- Revoke cloud access — Sign out of Google to stop cloud sync and request deletion of cloud-stored data
9. DATA RETENTION
- Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Cloud data is retained in your Firebase account until you delete it or request account deletion
- Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies (typically 14 months)
- Crash reports are retained for 90 days
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
- The App is designed for use by adult educators, not by children
- We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or applicable age in your jurisdiction)
- Student data is entered by the teacher (an adult) and is under the teacher's control
- If you believe student data has been collected inappropriately, please contact us immediately for removal
11. GDPR COMPLIANCE (EUROPEAN UNION)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Legal basis for processing: Legitimate interest (providing App functionality), consent (advertising and analytics)
- Data controller: You (the teacher) are the data controller for student information you enter. Mobilia Apps is the data processor
- Right to erasure: You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
- Right to restrict processing: You can use the App offline without cloud sync

12. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to know what personal information is collected
- Right to delete personal information
- Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
13. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
If you enable cloud sync, your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. Firebase Firestore servers are operated by Google and may be located in various regions. These transfers are
protected by Google's data processing terms.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
