Flooring Installer ("we", "our", "the app") is an offline flooring estimating, quoting, and job-management tool for flooring installers and contractors. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use our mobile application.

By using Flooring Installer, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

## 2. Information We Collect

### 2.1 Information You Provide

All of this information is entered by you and stored locally on your device:

- Business profile: business name, license number, insurance number, contact details

- Customer records: customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, and job-site addresses you enter

- Jobs and estimates: room measurements, material selections, waste factors, pricing, labor rates

- Financial records: quotes, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances

- Job photos: images you optionally attach to a job (captured with your device camera or chosen from your gallery)

### 2.2 Information Collected Automatically

- **Advertising identifier** — Google AdMob may access your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads in the free version.

- **Approximate location** — AdMob may infer coarse location from your IP address for ad delivery. The app itself does **not** request or use GPS/precise location.

- **Device and diagnostic information** — Google's advertising and billing services may collect basic device information for fraud prevention and ad delivery.

The app does **not** contain any analytics or crash-reporting SDK, and does **not** create any user account.

### 2.3 Information from Third-Party Services

None. Flooring Installer has no sign-in, no social login, and no cloud account.

## 3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you enter solely to:

- Calculate flooring estimates, waste factors, material costs, and labor

- Generate branded quote and invoice PDFs

- Manage your customers, jobs, payments, and reminders

- Display your business dashboard and reports

Advertising identifiers are used by Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version and by Google Play Billing to process your one-time purchase.

## 4. Data Storage and Security

### 4.1 Local Storage

- All your business, customer, job, estimate, and payment data is stored **locally on your device** in a private on-device database (Room) and in app preferences.

- Job photos are stored in the app's private internal storage.

- The app is **offline-first**: your data never leaves your device except as described for advertising and purchases below. There is no cloud sync, no server, and no account.

### 4.2 Cloud Storage

Not applicable. Flooring Installer does not upload, back up, or sync your data to any server.

### 4.3 Security Measures

- Your records remain in the app's private storage sandbox on your device.

- Network communication performed by advertising and billing services uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

- Because data is stored only on your device, its security also depends on your device's own lock screen and encryption.

## 5. Data Sharing

### 5.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

### 5.3 Documents You Share

When you generate a quote or invoice PDF (or export a CSV), the app hands the file to whichever app you choose (email, WhatsApp, etc.) through Android's standard share sheet. What happens to that file afterward is governed by the app and recipient you select.

### 5.4 Ad Personalization

- Free-tier users see advertisements served by Google AdMob.

- AdMob may use the device advertising identifier and usage data for ad personalization.

- You can opt out of personalized ads via device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

- Purchasing the one-time Premium upgrade removes all advertisements.

The app does **not** request the CAMERA permission (photo capture is delegated to your device's camera app), and does **not** request location permissions.

## 7. Photos and Images

- Photos are captured or selected only when you explicitly choose to add one to a job.

- Photos are stored in the app's private internal storage on your device.

- Photos are never uploaded to any server, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

- You can delete any photo at any time from within the app.

## 8. Children's Privacy

Flooring Installer is a professional business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

## 9. Your Rights and Choices

### 9.1 Access and Control

- You can view, edit, or delete any data you have entered, at any time, within the app.

- You can export your quotes and records as PDF or CSV.

### 9.2 Data Deletion

- Deleting a record in the app removes it from your device.

- Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data, including photos.

- Because we hold no copy of your data on any server, there is nothing further for us to delete.

### 9.3 Notifications

- You can disable notifications at any time through the app's Settings or your device Settings.

### 9.4 Ad Preferences

- The one-time Premium purchase removes all advertisements.

- You can opt out of personalized ads via device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

## 10. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your data. Because your app data is stored only on your device, you exercise most of these rights directly by editing or deleting data in the app or uninstalling it. ## 11. Data Retention

- Local data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

- We retain no data on any server.

- Advertising and billing data are retained per Google's standard retention policies.

## 12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above and posting the revised policy at the hosted URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
