One of my foster friends had the amazing opportunity to visit with her former foster kitten. I met Noodle, a kitten of my dreams, before she became Scamper and moved to Oregon. My friend raises wonderful kittens- so when she asked for a kitten sitter while she was gone I leapt at the chance! Frankie and Chucky arrived ready for some fun. I had just picked up my new babies, the support casts, 2 nights earlier. Since they were so skittish, I was still keeping them confined in the kitten room where they didn't have many places to hide, so we set up a second kennel in there for Frankie and Chucky. They made fast friends- Chucky and Neville delighted to have someone their size so interesting in play. But shortly after they arrived, Frankie had a bloody poop!! Frantic texts and a lot of consults... end result... separation for all the kittens. Poor babies had to spend most of their time here confined- coming out in shifts.
Little Frankie didn't mind much the first 24ish hours. She wasn't feeling great and was pretty lethargic. But Chucky was devastated to lose ALL his playmates. He's such a social little guy! I kept him entertained as much as I could with wands, but he also LOVED plastic spring toys. I didn't get many pictures, as most of the time he was out, he was in constant motion. But he did stop for a cuddle when I laid on the floor.
Once the antibiotics kicked in and Frankie started to feel better, I finally got her to eat. And eat. And eat and eat and eat. I was actually posting on Facebook as she ate... and she ate for over 29 minutes!
Frankie was not very amused at Christmas outfits and Chucky was difficult to get to stop moving...
But my friend seemed very pleased with our Christmas photoshoot. Got a few cute pics and several silly ones!
I enjoyed Frankie and Chucky very much!!
Frankie also met a dog (from a distance). I don't think she approved, lol.
