About 6 months after I began fostering I failed to send Toasty Marshmallow out into the world. I've never regretted bringing his fluffy butt home. His sister Ophelia was adopted by a friend of mine to be completely spoiled as a solo kitten. But a few weeks ago her momma told me they were interested in a tiny orange fluff ball.
I just so happened to know one of my foster friends had a tiny orange fluff ball. Teeny is like a tiny Toasty.
As a coincidence, Teeny's mom was going on vacation, so I have her and her sister here at Chez Ohana.
Teeny was the first to brave the horde of kittens crowding us. While Pillie watched from the shadows, she crept out, then in, then out, then in, then out, then in until the has-no-concept-of-personal-space Junkpile litter invaded their space. I know that these aren't the best pictures, but I did actually delete the worst ones, lol.
They're a very sweet bunch, but.... well...
There is a theory that All Orange Cats Share 1 Brain Cell. I'm pretty sure these two are sharing the 1 cell. Teeny fell over while sitting up. No, she wasn't moving. He was just sitting there, looking up at me. Pillie gets lost and cries with a teeny tiny pathetic cry until you come rescue her. But usually, she's staring directly at you while declaring that she's been abandoned.
Tiny Teeny and my Toasty didn't entirely cooperate for a little photo shoot, but it was still an adorable moment.
I'm a slooooow blogger. It took me over a week to write up the Junkpile entries and this tiny blog has been in the making for at least 3 episodes of Big Bang Theory. It's just pretty difficult to write a blog when I have to stop and take more pictures or pet kittens quite often. But my editors are behind me 100% of the way!
Continued 6/11/22- It turns out I started this blog while still sitting for the floofs, but never actually posted it. Par for the course for my tired end of the school year brain...
Ophelia's mom and dad were able to stop by when I had the babies and I'm fairly certain they're adopting Teeny. I was very sad to see these little floofs go back when their foster mom came to claim them. They fit in quite nicely with my Junkpile litter.
