This chunky cheeked rascal LOVES his siblings, but he loves his brothers a little TOO much. Braeburn will not be deterred from nursing on his siblings. He is not interested in substitutes.... no plush toys, sherpa blankets, human fingers... he only nurses on his siblings. It's not a problem for his sisters- they just get wet. They don't mind a bit. But Braeburn will nurse on the naughty bits of his brothers, which can cause damage and requires him to be separated from them when they're not being supervised. His favorite is brother Crispin, but we've caught him on Fuji too.
But he absolutely loves his siblings and is so cute with them when he's being a good boy.
Of course, Braeburn is pretty adorable the few times he is solo too!
And here we are again... as soon as I am writing about him, Braeburn comes to sit in my lap! Braeburn actually loves to sit in your lap when you're on the computer.
Braeburn enjoys his siblings, but he also loves people. Yesterday I decided to clean and reorganize my pantry. Braeburn and brother Fuji volunteered as my suPURRvisors.
Braeburn is one of my few fosters that has not gotten used to my cat friendly dogs. He growls at them every time they approach. They don't pay him any attention and he never does more than growl. When I pick him up, he never attacks or makes any aggressive moves... just growls until we move away and he returns to his loving self.
