Flotsam is often the first one noticed for his cute face and little beauty mark. He's not just an adorable face. Flotsam is an absolute lover. I noticed it on our trip home. Although he was wary of me, he didn't want to let his brother out of his sight when brother Jetsam demanded to get out of his carrier to meet me. Flotsam paced around, mewling in concern and hugged his brother when I had to put him back in the carrier so we could continue our drive home.
Flotsam is wary of strangers but once he learns to accept them he's faithful. Flotsam has learned to appreciate the softness of moving land clouds, but his real joy is to be with his humans. He's nearly always in whatever room we're in. But what he loves most of all is giving us face kisses. He's very insistent and persistent, particularly at 3am. I wish he had a better sense of time, but it's a loving way to wake up.
6/10/22 update: Flotsam has been the most constant of the kittens- he showed his true colors early on and hasn't really changed too much. He still loves to give kisses and be near his humans. He's often within arm's reach when I'm working on my computer, but rarely gets in the way (unlike some of his siblings who think they can blog better than mommy!). Flotsam is a real pack animal who loves his siblings and is usually one of the first to accept new kittens.
6/15/22 We're in the process of moving and have been packing boxes for the past week. Flotsam has LOVED the activity. Because I've been busy and he's constantly on the move, I only have this single picture... when he finally settled down. But a split second after I snapped this, he tried to put his face into my camera, so my other pictures of him were all either blurs of him in motion or extreme closeups of his nostrils.
The only way to get a great picture of Flotsam is to get him when he's worn himself (and his companions) out completely.
