Baby Tetris had multiple personalities... wide eyed with terror any time I approached her. But if I sat still for awhile, she'd eventually crawl up behind me then plop onto my shoulder for a kitten nap.
Her paint me like your french girl pose made her a crowd favorite with multiple visitors.
She demonstrated the same split personality with the puppies- from pocket protector to kitten companion.
After Tetris got sick and spent some time with my parents, my dad fell in love. He's never WANTED a cat before, though he's not-so-secretly loved all of the felines I've begged or brought into the house.
The first time we brought the Puzzles to meet Beignet, my dad was muttering "too many cats". I asked him how many cats was the right number.. and he responded "Beignet, and that kukalated cat, and that gray one". I almost fell over and my mom very vehemently disagreed, saying they didn't need 3 cats. Dad claimed that Beignet was her cat, Kukalated was his cat, and the grey one was Beignet's cat... one for everyone.
When Tetris began feeling better, I left her at home instead of dropping her off with Jigsaw and still sick Crumpet. Very little of the morning passed before I received texts from my mom informing me how upset my father was that his little gray kitten wasn't there.
Everyone loves Tetris, but in my opinion, my dad takes priority. Father's day is approaching, right??
7/27/21 Father's day has come and gone-but my dad had to wait until last weekend to get his father's day gift. He refuses to call her Tetris (to date, we've heard him utter this name exactly ONCE, but it is on video!) and calls her gray... but he is infatuated with her. And he's not the only one! My mom loves her too, but Beignet is thrilled with his new kitten.
