New zoom levels in the Waze Map Editor!

WME previously had 11 zoom levels, from 0-10. Following community requests to allow faster and easier map navigation we added more levels, from 4-22! The new zoom levels are now available in all environments. Log in to WME to check them out and read more in this post.

Improved Lane Guidance for Complex Junctions

Looking for better lane guidance when driving through complex junctions? A new capability called “Far Lanes” was created exactly for that and is now available for drivers around the world! This capability was created following the community’s request for better lane mapping capabilities in H and # junctions, and for Waze to better direct people through those junctions. Crisis Response Update

Since the beginning of 2022, the Waze Crisis Response team has supported 166 wildfires and flooding events in the US, Europe and LATAM. Each time the team launches a Crisis Response, they reach out to the First Responders community to get information from people in the affected area. The information is added to the Waze map so that the local community can be safely routed around the hazard. Want to become a First Responder to support your community in times of uncertainty?
