It's time for the monthly Editors Community Newsletter!

Thank you for all your contributions and enjoy your reading :)

The Waze Communities Team.

What’s New on WME?

The Description filter is a newly added community suggestion and thanks to it, you can now choose to see only URs that have a description!

On another exciting note, you can now convert a residential place point to a public one, based on the community’s feedback! Read more.

Importing more suggested segments

The last batch of suggested segments is being added to the map! Review them through the Issue Tracker.

Also, following questions around filtering out Unpaved roads, here’s how you can focus on Paved roads:

Open the Issue Tracker and go to Map Suggestions → Status: Open → Surface: Paved → Apply

Thousands of segments are added to the map through the Koi fish project, thanks to your contributions!

Looking for more information about your destination? Check out the new and helpful Place Preview screen! To save a few clicks, it will only show up when you drive to a venue! Thanks to everyone who tested it and shared valuable feedback!

Chat on Wazeopedia and more!

You can now carry your conversations between the Waze App, the forum, Waze Discuss AND Wazeopedia! Also, when logged in to your Waze account, you’ll be signed in to Wazeopedia. This was made possible by changing Wazepedia’s web domain.

Meetup Madness

Upcoming Meetups include Locals for Indonesia, and the UK and Ireland, the DACH Regional, and a US Waze Cafe.

We also wanted to shine a spotlight on a recent Meetup in Uzbekistan: for their Waze Cafe, they prepared their own picnic lunches! Reach out to your coordinator to organize your own.
