What's new on WME?

More user details in URs!

Finally, a much anticipated feature is here! An expanded list of reporter settings now appears in URs, making it much easier for you to understand and resolve reports. See the full list of reporter settings

New editor moods

Thank you for voting on our New Editor Moods! The “Collection of Geniuses” mood set won, and now they’re all yours! Check them out the next time you log into WME, the Live Map and your editor profile page!

New on Waze

Live gas prices in UK and Slovenia

Wazers in the UK and Slovenia now see real-time gas prices in Waze! Kudos for building automated feeds that display official governmental gas pricing in the app.  Want to do the same for your area? Talk to your local lead!

Quick route settings

Now Wazers get a clear overview of their current settings and they can modify them along their route. It’s a great feature for those who may not be aware of all the settings available in the app.

Meetups and upcoming events!

March Office Hours

Join us on March 10, 2024 to get a sneak peek at one of our newest WME features - Suggest an Edit! Check the Announcements Forum for more details and to register.

Missed our Office Hours Annual Kickoff edition? Watch the recording and hear Waze leads Gai Berkovich, Adi Rome and Hila Roth answer YOUR questions in the Q&A session!

Marvelous meetups

A round of applause goes to members who met for a Waze Cafe in Hawaii and for the Waze Localization Community’s first online meetup. And that’s just the beginning! Soon, our meetups and cafes will be happening in many places, spreading the Waze love around the world!

How you helped drivers

Carnival of Brazil and the community

Carnival of Brazil is so much fun, but it also creates hundreds of major traffic events that affect millions. Our community in Brazil managed closures with local partners in advance, including joining traffic control centers!

Two new coordinators elected in Brazil!

The community  voted for alemenezes to represent Southeast Brazil and MauricioCGB to represent Center-South. Congrats to you both! We’re certain that you (together with tenlucas) will take the community to the next level!

The Vietnam Community steps up reporting

This community stepped up its activity by creating a Community Partner Hub account. They’ve already started using the Reporting Tool to let Wazers know about sudden speed changes on the roads, which in some areas occur daily.

Thanks for reading!
