What’s New on WME?

Our latest WME version included lots of improvements, like: You can now see Venue and City names in Issue Tracker PUR cards and can filter URs by "Resolved by me" and “Commented by me”. Also, WME now has a unique favicon so you can easily find the right tab: Check out the small icon on WME’s browser tab! And that’s not all! Read more.

What's new on Waze?

On iOS, Road Shields are now on CarPlay! This exciting update was made possible thanks to your feedback, persistence and patience!

On Android, Category search got a brand new look and feel with added information and better flows.

‘Planned Drive’ is back!

The Planned Drive feature was removed a few versions ago and our dear community members asked to bring it back. We’re happy to share that you can now plan your drive, by clicking on Leave Later in the Trip Overview window! Drive safe 🙂

June Meetups

In June, we had the pleasure of hosting Waze Cafes in Malaysia, UAE, Colombia and 2 US regions. The AU-NZ communities met for a Local in Australia. The German, Austrian and Swiss communities met for the DACH Regional and the annual Brazilian Mega Meetup brought together community and staff members! Thanks everyone for joining, we can’t wait for the next meetup 🙂

The community’s swift response to wildfire in Florida

In early June, wildfire affected national forests in Florida. Our First Responder community members quickly reached out to the Waze Crisis Response team. A collaboration between Waze, community and the local department of transportation allowed us to alert drivers navigating to the affected areas. Join the First Responders community.

Wazers were the first to know about the US bridge collapse

A major bridge collapsed in Pennsylvania. Our US community was the first to hear about it from local authorities, who reached out to the community to ask them to update the map and keep drivers away from the area. Their actions were covered in this news story. Thanks for keeping drivers safe!
