Improved Lane Guidance in Junction Boxes

For a while, the Community has been asking for better Lane Guidance in complex junctions, like the H and # junctions. As our experienced Editors know, this is a tricky task to fulfill, but now, "Far Lanes" is finally starting to roll out! Want to learn more about Far Lanes? Check out this forum post.

What's new on WME?

Log in to the Waze Map Editor to see the exciting new updates added following our Editors' requests - clickable URLs in Map Comments; blocking the creation of a Place or Closure if the corresponding layer is inactive, making long segments easier to edit by showing at least one node handle (called Geonodes), and more! Follow the WME forum for all the details.

Thanks for Joining our Annual Kickoff Office Hours!

On February 6th, we had the pleasure of having Waze CEO, Neha Parikh answer Community questions and share her vision for 2022, alongside our very own Hila Roth, Head of Waze Communities, and Gai Berkovich, Waze COO. Thanks to everyone who joined! Watch the recording here in case you missed it.

Making Friends through Carpool

Renan, an enthusiastic Carpool rider who used to live in Sao Paulo, returned to his hometown during the pandemic. Recently, he traveled to Sao Paulo for a visit.

Looking for a place to stay in town, he contacted his Carpool community friends and received many invitations. Renan happily took up the offer and even enjoyed a night out with his Carpool friends.

We want to hear from you :)
