Google ELB forwards to the nodeport of the Kubernetes node internally
LoadBalancer feature is applicable for all clouds Azure, AWS etc and they all use nodeport for transferring traffic
For on-prem, nginx plus provides Loadbalancer feature via its own loadbalancer
