Most known diseases are due to germs(bacteria, virus, fungus, worm). However, Lifestyle diseases happen due to different reasons They are category of disease which are due to inappropriate lifestyle.
Our body is a complex system where multiple organs interact with each other and work together to made things working. Hormone acts as trigger point for various functions. Blood circulates nutrition to whole body. If lifestyle is inappropriate, this whole system will not be able to work. If nutrition is lacking, cells/issue/organs will be weak. Note that cell division happens regularly in our body. Weak cell will result in weaker new cells. So, the issue happens in long run and effect is noticeable in long-term. It is common observation that lifestyle disease takes time to actually get noticed (For example, diabetes). Above reasoning explains why it takes more time compared to germs based disease.
This link shares the concern that Kidney failure is happening even to 20-year-old Indians now! It mentions four reasons. Two reasons among these 4 are sedentary lifestyle, poor eating habit which results poor cell/tissues/organs and weak immune system.
