特性：多年生草本球根花卉具塊莖。株高約 70~80 公分。葉片心狀箭形，基部心形或戟形，全緣。佛焰苞白色，輪廓呈寬漏斗形，肉穗花序黃色，台灣近幾年的栽培品種甚多，如黃花海芋、橙色海芋以及粉紅海芋。漿果淡黃色。
