別名 : 鱗胸文鳥、魚鱗沉香算命鳥、小紡織鳥。

習性:以禾本科種子及穀類為食，常密集群體似蜂群狀飛行。

特徵:斑文鳥的平均體重約為13.6克，身長約11公分，體型比麻雀稍小；發出很輕柔的「啾、啾」聲音。全身褐色，尤以頭部褐色較深，嘴黑色，胸前有鱗狀斑紋。

Habits: Feed on gramineous seeds and cereals, often flying in dense groups like bees.
