Deer Island 

Learn how the Deer Island treatment plant protects Boston Harbor against pollution from Metropolitan Boston's sewer systems. We will cover five miles in 2 hours of walking trails and experience spectacular views of the Boston skyline and Harbor Islands. 

Lunch after the trip takes place at a famed seafood restaurant in Winthrop. No charge for the tour, but contact Judy Bernstein to make arrangements no later than October 16.  All participants will be required to submit ID information no later than 7 days prior to the tour.  Members may bring one guest.
