Check out our posters!

You'll start to see posters around the village, and a banner go up on the school railings on the corner of Beaver Road and Attwood Road.

Thanks to Amy Gândara for offering her skills as a graphic designer to come up with our poster design.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE IT A SUCCESS!

We need over 100 people to make the fair a success. Just an hour or even 30 minutes will make a big difference. How can you help?

  • Can your class adopt a stall to run on the night? Yr 2 is adopting the bar and Christmas Jumper stall for example.
  • Can you create Santa's Grotto the night before?
  • Can you help us set up during the day? Can you help clear up afterwards? Or take home some recycling?
  • Can you put tickets on bottles and chocolate at coffee mornings tomorrow and next week so they are ready for the tombolas?
  • Could you wrap some Secret Santa presents one evening before the fair or at a Friday coffee morning?
  • Or could you be an elf! A very important role!

Everything we need to do is listed here - an hour of your time will really help us!

Thanks to those people who have already signed up for jobs and offered to cook speciality food.

Watch our video to see what's planned! It's going to be brilliant fun, full of great food, Christmas gifts, decorations, crafts and games!

Bake for us!

Can you bake Christmas themed cup cakes, mince pies, gingerbread and other festive treats? Then we need your talent to stock our cake stall.

A few golden rules, no nuts, name your box if you want it back and tell us if you've baked gluten free so we can keep it separate. Please bring them to school on the morning of the fair.

Sign up here so we know to expect it!

It's non uniform day tomorrow!

Here's a reminder of what to bring. We know this is another thing on the list so don't worry if you don't have chocolate but do have a bottle or a lucky dip prize, send that along instead. All donations are gratefully received.

  • Nursery, Reception, Yr 1 - bottles for the bottlebola - squash, wine, bath bubbles.... unopened and long life.
  • Yr 2, 3 & 4 - chocolate boxes, chocolate oranges, gold coins, biscuit selection boxes, bags of mini treats for the chocolatebola and stall prizes
  • Yr 5 & 6 - Lucky dip prizes. Think things left over from making up party bags - bouncy balls, notepads, yoyos, sticker packs.

Where to take it: First school: bring your donation to drop off on Friday. Your teacher will take it from you.

Juniors: Dawn on the PTA team will be outside school to put donations straight into her car so they can be brought to the first school and be ticketed by volunteers.

WE ALSO NEED Good quality toys, books, and clean Christmas jumpers to sell. We'd also like teddies for our adopt a teddy stall.

Please bring these to Friday coffee mornings (tomorrow or next week), or contact us and we'll arrange to get them from you at drop off / collection.

At the fair our sponsors Philip James Kennedy will be launching a Winter Wonder House colouring competition. You can do your entry at the fair or take it home to complete. There are two great prizes of £50 vouchers up for grabs - more details here!
