Managing Energy

How often have you put in a full day's work and still said, "I'll just work for one more hour!" Or added one more task to your weekend to-do list, only to find a thousand other things to do instead of what you put on your list, and then spent the entire week upset at yourself for not just getting it done? This cycle of “the best-laid plans” can end in frustration and exhaustion as you constantly play catch up and continuously deplete your energy reserves. This has only been exacerbated by the pandemic.


Although time management might be helpful here, there is a growing body of thought that says focusing on managing your ENERGY is key to making lasting change. By protecting our energy we do more to intentionally open up time for cultivating resiliency, adding to those reserves, and fueling our rejuvenation.
