Resilient educators embrace the power of gratitude and make it part of their daily practices. Who or what are you grateful for today?
But through our work with new teachers and mentors, we also recognize the need to address the needs of the HUMAN who teaches, not just the educator. We're proud to offer two types of professional learning designed specifically to address the needs of the human who educates.
Open to New Teachers Tears 1 through 5 & Mentors Only. Our Marigold Wellness sessions are created by the New Teacher Support Department to specifically address the social-emotional well-being of new teachers and their mentors. Topics will center on creating a strong community of support and how to build daily habits that cultivate educator resilience which all support CSTP 6: Developing as a Professional Educator.
Open to New Teachers in Years 1 Through 5 and Mentors. Our Marigold Mixers are designed to foster the building of a strong, collaborative new teacher community in Twin Rivers. Each Mixer will allow time for you to connect with other new teachers to share celebrations and successes, discuss and problem-solve common challenges, learn from one another, and begin to create the positive, supportive professional relationships that are vital to each of us as educators. We will also introduce you to important district department staff who have knowledge and support to offer both you and your students. These sessions directly support CSTP 6: Developing as a Professional Educator.
