College Confidential has many application tips, discussion forums, and information about what college life is like.

The College Board supervises the SAT exams and registrations for the SATs. The website offers a great deal of information about colleges and universities as well as free SAT practice with the Khan Academy.

MyRoad is part of the College Board’s college and career planning site. It has information about careers, colleges, and majors.

Application Pathways

Common Application Website an undergraduate college admission application that applicants may use to apply to any of nearly 700 member colleges and universities in the US, as well as in Canada, China and many European countries.

Coalition for College has tools for researching college options and can be a place for applying to some Universities like the University of Washington.  If you have the options of using the Common Application we suggest this as this is connect to Bridge U

Financial Aid and Scholarships 

Acceptance Rates and Scholarship data for national and International Students: Lists of Universities across the US with details on acceptances and scholarship money offered. 

The College Solution: A blog and good information about how to avoid going into debt for University in the US. 

TuitionFit: gives college-bound students, families and college search counselors the pricing information they need to make the most informed decisions possible. 

Unigo offers scholarship searches and applications.

College Board's CSS/financial aid profile. This form can be used by US Citizens/Green Card Holders or International Students if the College/University will accept the form.  It can provide more information than the FAFSA and open doors that the FAFSA alone cannot. 

College Affordability and Transparency Center, is a US Government center where you can see net cost and tuition.  Please note that the filters do not take several factors into account. Still it is interesting information. 

CollegeXepress, is a website for scholarship opportunities and also provides University information. 

Petersons: Scholarship Search for graduate and undergraduate students.

US Citizens/Green card Holders

FAFSA, (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), is the US government site for student aid for US citizens.
