Trinity

– great to know that you have students interested in studying in Trinity. This video here goes over the application process to Irish universities, which can be quite confusing indeed.

Basically, the process varies depending on the residency status of the student and their parents (I go over this in the video at 4’10) – please see image below. You will see on the chart that students either apply to Trinity directly or via the CAO.

If they apply to Trinity directly, the process is very straightforward. They apply on our website by picking their preferred course. Admissions are rolling so students would know within 1 month of applying if they are admissible to Trinity (except Med/ Dent).

If they apply via the CAO, they select their preferred courses by 1 Feb and upload their final results in July when available. They would then know if they are admitted in August.
