a capsule is the first thing a player will see about the game, such as on Steam
it's important to be honest in the capsule
don't just use a screenshot as cover art - make an effort, because people will judge a game by its cover
the main purpose of this is to catch the attention of your target audience
Questions:
Q: LO.7 talks about scripting. Does this mean that I need to have written code for both projects?
A: No. The code for Prototype 2 is good enough.
Q: For Brief 2 LO.3, how can I make sure I've hit that one?
A: Talk about playtests and how it's going; should be able to get some testing this week
Q: Still a bit unsure of Brief 2 LO.4 and .5
A: Talk about why specific design choices were made, e.g. old and ruined to fit story of ancient temple
today we created the concept for our Level Design poster for showcase (see Showcase page)
we asked design and animation students if anyone would be interested in drawing it up
