iteration is the process of creating something through design, prototyping, testing and editing before reaching the final product.
refactoring is a term used in games development for starting over. It can be a useful use of an iteration, and sometimes the best thing to do is toss out a component that doesn't work.
A burndown chart shows the amount of time remaining on a project against the number of tasks left to complete. It has an 'ideal' line and an 'actual' line.
We spent most of the lesson working on Brief 1. I managed to pull together some character design sketches during this time.
This is a burndown chart example, but it is behind schedule. The actual line should be below the ideal line to indicate that the project is on track.
