we presented our pitch for Brief 2
the feedback questions to keep in mind are:
- does the presentation demonstrate an understanding of semiotic analysis by identifying the denotations and connotations of the original text?
- does the presentation use academic research to support an understanding of the ideology/myth represented in the original text?
- does the presentation indicate how the remix will challenge stereotypes that reinforce the dominant ideology?

My feedback for the other group:

Too much writing on slides - hard to follow along
Very small font
Semiotic analysis was good - multifaceted approach to the movie, rather than fixating on one specific aspect

For next week:

Write my part of submission template
1. original media text section
2. artists' statement section
Add semiotics reference (see Brief 2 mid-project reflection)
