Database Access

Using sources reviewed during the data specialist training, specifically the NYSED Data sire, the School Performance Dashboard, and the Item Skills Analysis, we find ways to understand the various metrics that influence our school’s performance, as well as the most valuable information needed to affect and predict student success and performance.

System Development

Using the referenced data sources, we create profiles specific to our school’s students and classes, with future considerations to establish flexible grouping. These profiles allow us to organize students according to performance and measurable subgroups.

Communication & Prediction

The last task in our process involves creating a presentable summary of student performance for teachers to absorb and using sub-scores within specific domains to predict performance in future iterations of state exams.
