Personal Statement: After graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education, I began teaching at PS 189 in Washington Heights. In my classroom, I strive to provide access to meaningful learning opportunities to all my students. Through my experience as Special Education Liaison, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues in improving the delivery of special education services at our school. My aim is to create systems and structures that aid our teachers and providers in facilitating the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.
