Personal Statement: Teaching can feel exhilarating and at times it can feel exhausting. One of my favorite things about teaching is when a scholar experiences an "aha moment". When scholars overcome something that was challenging for them, all because I kept pushing them to go the extra mile, it makes it all worthwhile. Another reason why this is my favorite thing about teaching is because essentially, I'm teaching scholars a lifelong lesson: with much practice and perseverance you can achieve anything!
