Personal Statement: Every child has the potential to be a scholar. That’s the fundamental belief I carried with me throughout my career as a paraprofessional, and now as a teacher. It’s what motivates me to use resources like this one that make our ICT classroom as accessible, differentiated, and supportive as possible. Because when we work together to create a environment that is positive and solution-oriented, our scholars achieve amazing things. I graduated from American University with a degree in Biochemistry, and I’m completing a master’s degree in Childhood Education, with a Special Education extension, at Brooklyn College next year.
