Personal Statement: My name is Kadeeja Williams and I have a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Science in Education for General and Special Education in grades 5-9 both of my degrees are from Mercy College. I have a passion for making a difference in the lives of my students by offering hope and encouragement. In my classroom I work collaboratively with the middle school teachers in which I provide support to my students academic, social and emotional needs. For the past two years I have been apart of the new pilot program called Para Train the Trainer for District 4. This is a program that helps paraprofessionals enhance their learning skills, give new tools and ideas on how to educate our students to be successful. I am also a dedicated unionist, serving as a paraprofessional rep for my school for four years, cultivating support and positive feedback among members.
