Personal Statement: Alicia E. Ally grew up in the South Bronx. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from The College of Mount Saint Vincent in Biochemistry and a minor in Literature. She earned a Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry (University of Florida), and Nutritional Sciences (University of Florida), a Master of Education in Education (Pace University) and is currently working on her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University at Chicago. She is expected to graduate in May of 2019. She considers herself to be a visionary leader and educator with more than 15 years of experience as a successful problem solver and school administrator. She has extensive experience in testing and data analysis of diverse learning groups. To disrupt the inequity seen in education today, she believes in nurturing both the socio-emotional and academic entities of a child.
