Personal Statement: I am currently working as a special education teacher in both inclusive and self-contained settings, predominantly in early elementary grades, and most recently transitioning to a role as a technology coordinator, computer science instructor, and data specialist, while still utilizing my special education background as a SETSS provider.

Even as a special educator, I specialize in finding ways to integrate pedagogically-appropriate technology into classroom instruction and systems.

I hold an MST (Master of Science in Teaching) degree from Fordham University, and am currently pursuing an MA degree in Digital Media Design for Learning from NYU. I also possess a number of instructionally-relevant certifications, such as Google Level 1 Educator, Common Sense EdTech Integrator, Codesters Level 1 Educator, Remind, and Promethean ClassFlow Innovator. Prior to working for the New York City Department of Education, I was a youth program director with the New York City Parks Department for 5 years in the Kingsbridge Heights neighborhood of the Bronx.
