Personal Statement: As the school counselor at Spruce Street School, in downtown Manhattan. I serve students from Pre-K through eighth grade. I have worked there since they first opened in 2009. Prior to that I worked at the Community Action School, a middle school on the Upper West Side, for nearly 10 years. I am currently back in school at Baruch College in an Educational Leadership program preparing for my School Building Leader Certification. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two teenage children.
