Personal Statement: I currently hold the title of IEP Teacher at PS 189 in Washington Heights. My educational career began at Syracuse University, where I graduated summa cum laude in Inclusive Education and Spanish Language. Upon graduation, I moved to New York City, where I obtained her graduate degree from

Hunter College in STEM Education. Since my start at PS 189, I have taught in 12:1, ICT, and SETSS classroom settings. I has also served as the special education liaison, paraprofessional training facilitator, UFT delegate, School Leadership Team member, and chair of the School Implementation Team.
