Personal Statement: I am a school counselor at Yorkville Community School (YCS), located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. YCS serves 550 students in Pre-K to fifth grade. I have worked there since 2009, when it first opened. Before working there I had two years of experience as a school counselor at PS 89 in downtown Manhattan and one year as a school counselor at PS 385 in the South Bronx.
