Personal Statement: My name is Eraiza Wilson and I am a well-rounded secretary at my school in East Harlem. Before my position at PS 102 I worked for 8 years with Organ and Tissue donation for New York City. During those 8 years I learned to love the art of working with people and the true meaning of patience with everything in life. Working as a school secretary has emphasized the meaning of everything I learned in the past. Every day that I come to work is an epic adventure filled with learning.
I am a mother of 2 and proudly one is soon to be a Howard University freshman. I was born and raised in Harlem. I am currently married to an amazing man and he knowing I work 12 hour days and still remaining married to me makes him even more amazing. Working as a school secretary is rewarding because as many say "School Secretaries are the Heart of Schools."
