We were truly looking forward to welcoming the Junior learners back on-site at the start of this Term, however due to the current alert levels, we once again resume distance learning with the hope of returning back on-site soon. We are delighted with the level of participation in our hangouts as we back this Term. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new learners and their whānau who have joined our Junior Team.
We thank each and every one of you for your support during this time. We know juggling working from home and caring for your whānau comes with different challenges.
The Years 0-2 teachers grow increasingly impressed with our learners daily. Their determination, creativity and positive energy makes learning fun for everyone. We thank you for all your support.
Term 4 Concept - Phenomena
Term 4 Concept - Phenomena
Last term, we experienced great success with our learning about the concepts of 'Our Community' and 'Our Community in Space', which continued through our distance learning part way through the term.
The concept for Term 4 is the 'Phenomena of Light'. We are already into the swing of our concept learning.
We will be thinking scientifically to question and explore the concepts of day and night, shadows, rainbows and light.

We are fortunate to be able to use our teachers' strengths to design a variety of rich other learning opportunities for our learners to access through distance learning. You will see links to this on your child's School Talk calendar. Here is the link for easy access.
This learning can happen at any time, in any place and with anyone. On this blog page we have included a few links to some challenges, projects and activities that your child can engage in. We have covered a range of curriculum areas to spark curiosity, science knowledge, problem solving and creativity.
